New Beginnings!

Getting going…

Hello family and friends, and welcome to our November ‘End of Year’ update. 2025 has been a year of many changes here in Morelia. Our base is in a different location and we are starting anew with many of our activities.

Salamanca

Carmen and I are continuing our ministry in Salamanca. Every month we’ve been having activities with the youth of the church and community. This last time Carmen taught and I shared a bit of my testimony.

Local Ministry

Right now we don’t have any schools running at the base, so our focus has been local ministry opportunities. On Thursdays we have been reaching out to some of the immigrants that are in the city. Many immigrants that are traveling through Mexico tend to stand in the streets looking for opportunities. We have been taking food to some of them, praying for them and inviting them to church. Many of them need some type of help.

We also had a week long event where we read through the entire bible in three days and did evangelism throughout the city. For the reading, we all took times throughout each day. We were also reading in public parks with a speaker, and many people on and off the base participated.

BELT Seminar

We also had a bible seminar for a week. We all taught different themes and invited people from the local churches to participate.

Youth Camp Training

Our ministry in Salamanca is supported by a organisation called SATURA Mexico. They invited us to a weekend training seminar teaching how to organise and administer a Youth camp. It was a fun and informative weekend. We learned a lot and are planning a youth camp for 2026.

A Wedding

My friends Gwen and Cuco got married last month. They were both a part of the base at some point, but are now working in a different ministry. It was a beautiful wedding and I’m so happy for them.

Carmen and I are going to the Bahamas for Christmas and will be there for a few weeks. I will be helping my mother with her house, visiting family and friends, and fundraising for the up coming year.

Thank you for your interest in the ministries and reading this newsletter. God has a plan and we should be seeking him and his heart for people in our lives. Remember to take every opportunity that presents itself, to share the gospel with every person around you. Let’s continue to pray for each other as we build God’s kingdom.
